Oil and gas contractors and industrial field teams will be able to seamlessly sync with the Occupational Safety and Health Administration's recordkeeping workflows, thanks to a new mobile-first platform launched by safety documentation software provider, BasinCheck
The platform ensures custom made templates for audits, job safety analyses and inspections, along with OSHA 300 and 300A log generation from manager-confirmed incident records. There is photo documentation, PDF export capabilities and a full audit trail with timestamps and user attribution.
Users will no longer have to depend on paper checklists and spreadsheet-based tracking as digital audits, corrective action management, and incident documentation can be accessed with just a tap.
Safety inspections can be completed on phones, and the crew can determine the next move for failed checklist items from automatically generated solutions. A centralised dashboard helps safety managers to easily track the stages of progress, and hold accountable the person involved in ensuring work delivery. The system can function offline as well in case its a remote site with no cellular service.
