Stirling Group has become an accredited member of the Lifting Equipment Engineers Association (LEEA)
The UAE-based HSE service provider for the energy industry said its approval as an associate technical training member of the LEEA demonstrated its ability to develop and deliver high quality training programmes for operations in the energy sector.
The LEEA’s Training Accreditation Scheme was launched in 2009 with the aim of enabling its member companies to offer a range of independently verified training courses for employees involved in the use or management of overhead lifting equipment.
“This is a great addition to our current accreditations and reinforces our commitment to providing a full range of industry-recognised qualifications,” said Stirling Group’s global head of workforce development Mike Palmer. “We have a major role to play in the reduction of risk and to the safety and health of our clients, our own employees, our contractors, partners, and also in the protection of the environments within which we work.
“We are continually tailoring our offering of HSE training solutions to ensure compliance in the hazardous, high-risk and hostile environments experienced in the oil and gas sector.”
Stirling Group adds the LEEA to its existing list of independent accreditations for the energy sector, including Industry Qualifications (IQ), Highfield Awarding Body for Compliance (HABC) and DECC (oil spill).
