FDI Group has strengthened its presence in the UAE with the launch of Fire Dynamics International, a dedicated contracting division operating alongside its independent fire safety consultancy recently launched in the market

It comes as the building fire safety market is burgeoning with new cities, resorts and sophisticated high-rises springing up in the region thanks to ambitious national visions, and new technologies and construction methods create new fire safety considerations. At the same time, fire safety regulations and codes are evolving, and there is a growing awareness of the importance of fire safety amongst all stakeholders.
FDI Group’s new contracting division enables the Group to provide a complete fire safety solution, from strategy, consultancy and design through to installation, remediation and compliance.
As a specialist fire protection contractor, Fire Dynamics International delivers passive and active fire protection systems across commercial, residential and industrial developments. It works with developers, principal contractors, consultants, facilities managers and building owners, supporting new-builds and existing buildings with tailored solutions designed to protect properties and their occupants throughout the lifecycle.
Services include: fire door installation, fire stopping, compartmentation, penetration sealing and passive fire remediation, alongside active fire protection systems, helping clients stay compliant while improving the long-term safety and resilience of their assets.
The company has already installed full active and passive fire installation at DIFC’s Index Tower, with the same scope of works also due to commence shortly at Eywa Tower in Business Bay.
