Health and Safety week will run across the DEWA branches, and will include a variety of activities and programmes. These are not only designed for employees, but also for families and children in order to instill the importance of a great working environment. These lectures and events are to run in Arabic, English, Indian and Urdu. There is also a fitness competition that stakeholders can enter, again, to instill the importance of good health, and how this affects work.

Al Tayer stated DEWA's accomplishment in his speech saying “We implement cutting-edge methods that meet the highest criteria and best global practices. This annual event also helps to promote DEWA’s IMS policy, which supports health, safety and sustainability. At DEWA, we remain fully committed to providing an inspiring environment that guarantees the health and safety of our employees, partners, developers, customers and stakeholders.”
