The growth, representative of a CAGR of 7.3 per cent from 2014 to 2020, was revealed in a study by Transparency Market Research.
Referring to items such as goggles, clothing and helmets, PPE products have been designed to protect the wearer body from injury or a hazardous environment.
Strict government rules and regulations and the urgency to ensure safety at workplace have been the two important factors driving the global personal protective equipment market, with government across the globe set to execute safety rules in the coming six years, the report said.
