Australian protection solutions provider Ansell has launched a new cut-resistant glove for industrial use
With its silicone-free, low-lint and anti-static properties and its light, form-fitted design, the HyFlex 11-318 is designed for use in industries where flexibility and tactility are critical, such as those involving the handling of small parts with sharp edges.
Aerospace, automotive, electronics, white goods and machinery applications, including assembly of sharp parts, packaging, and quality inspection were all sectors which Ansell said the glove would be ‘ideal’ for.
“At Ansell, we understand workers’ needs and the impact our products can have on workplace productivity,” said Scott Corriveau, president and general manager of the Ansell Industrial Global Business Unit. “Through the introduction of this silicone-free, high tactility product, we are enabling assembly workers the protection and dexterity they need, while also protecting the quality of the materials they produce.”
Available in six sizes, the 11-318 is the latest edition in Ansell’s trademarked HyFlex brand of gloves, which has sold millions of pairs since its inception in 1996.
