Stirling Group launches online competency training

Training

HSE service provider Stirling Group has launched a new online training programme for workers in the oil and gas sector

Stirling 360, a multi-lingual assessment tool with full Arabic capability, is described by the company as a “versatile online platform which is customised to an organisation’s specific competencies and requirements”.

Offering detailed feedback on individual performance, the programme is designed to enable the oil and gas firms which Sterling Group largely serves to assess their employees’ competency, identify skills gaps and prioritise training accordingly.

“We launched Stirling 360 to help companies see exactly which areas they need to focus on and invest in when it comes to training and skills development,” said Sterling Group’s regional manager Will Follett. “As such, it provides an insight into the current and future skills challenges and the steps that need to be taken to secure a highly skilled workforce now and in the years to come.”

During its recent roll-out across the Middle East, the programme was used by a UAE-based multinational oil firm to assess the competency of 120 senior managers.
