The Middle East Gases Association (MEGA) will hold a series of safety talks aimed at raising regional standards
The talks, which will be chaired and organised by the organisation’s general secretary, Frank H. Finger, will explore safety in the industrial gas sector in the Middle East, discussing hot topics and regulations which companies should adhere to.
One session will take place at the upcoming gasworld MENA Industrial Gas Conference, which will take place at the Jumeirah Beach Hotel, Dubai from 7-9 December 2015.
To be officially opened by Dr. Abdulwahab Al-Sadoun of Gulf Petrochemicals & Chemicals Association, the session will see the guest presenters speak about topics such as gas supply for the food and beverages industries, cylinder filling and safety measures, transportation of dangerous goods, environmental matters, accident prevention and medical gases.
“This session is important to keep current members abreast of our industry issues, as well as convincing new members about the benefit of their membership and welcoming them into the fold,” Finger explained.
Presenters at the gasworld session, who form part of MEGA's Safety Committee and will call upon their personal expertise to educate delegates, include Elie Adaimy and Paul Vincent of Air Liquide; Natarajan Suresh from Gulf Cryo; and Mohammad El Hosni, from Buzwair, Qatar.
