Training

A new monthly magazine for members of Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) was launched on 1 February

IOSH Magazine replaces Safety and Health Practitioner as the official monthly publication for IOSH members. IOSH Magazine will provide readers with the latest news and will carry opinion pieces as well as features profiling safety and health practitioners, including a look the hobbies of OSH professionals.

Louis Wustemann, editor of IOSH Magazine, said, “Members ‘can expect all sorts of good things’ when they open each issue.

“We aim to bring them the best information that we can on managing hazards in the workplace, on being better managers and on being better OSH professionals all round.”

The first edition of the printed magazine comes after the publication’s website – www.ioshmagazine.com – was launched. This will provide members with daily updates and information, which will be pulled together for the print version.

Graham Parker, IOSH’s president elect, noted, “There will be a mixture of resources, there will be articles about technology, and there will be interviews on specific case studies and columns which provide opinion and debate.
