Dräger rolls out new drug testing device

Training

Manufacturer in safety and medical technology, Dräger, is seeking to develop its drug testing portfolio for the utilities sector with a new screening device, DrugCheck 3000

DrugCheck3000 is able to test slight traces of cannabis, which has the compound most difficult to detect (THC), according to the firm.

The device will enable individuals working in hazardous environments to stay safe and protected, Dräger stated.

DrugCheck 3000 is expected to combat what can be a huge issue for businesses leading to rising absenteeism, reduced productivity as well as a higher risk of accidents.

“We’re delighted to announce the launch of the latest addition to our drug and alcohol testing portfolio for the utilities industry – the DrugCheck 3000, said Andrew Lowdon, marketing manager for Impairment and Sales Channel Partners at Dräger.

“It takes the principles of Dräger’s renowned diagnostics range and proven technology, in a simple, mobile piece of equipment, which can be used safely on any site and in hazardous areas.”
