Distributor’s Spire Solutions announced that it has partnered with email and data security company Mimecast
The aim is to help Spire Solutions improve the cyber resilience of their local customers and provide next-generation protection against advanced email-borne and internally-generated threats.
Email is the number one application used by organisations around the world and the data being sent and received needs to be protected, the company stated.
According to Gartner’s assessment on ‘How to Build an Effective Email Security Architecture’ in 2018, email is the most commonly used channel for both opportunistic and targeted attacks on client endpoints, including advanced malware, phishing and spoofing.
Mimecast services are designed to provide comprehensive pre-attack email security checks, continuity during and automated recovery after an attack. Through this partnership, joint customers can benefit from how the platform both helps to safeguard employee communication and reduce risk with targeted threat protection, prevention of data leakage and enforce security controls.
