Bosch Security Systems has announced the release of a new range of motion detectors
The Commercial Series of wall-mounted devices has the ability to detect intruders from wall to wall over an area of up to 15m x 15m, making them well-suited to application in small- to mid-sized enterprises.
The series consists of two models; the TriTech, which uses passive infrared (PIR) and microwave Doppler radar detection technology along with First Step Processing; and the TriTech+, for higher-security application, with its increased sensitivity and anti-mask capabilities to detect materials being placed in front of or sprayed onto the detector.
Both models offer selectable sensitivity and LED visibility as well as an adjustable microwave Doppler radar range, which Bosch says can reduce false alarms by up to 35 per cent when tested alongside other models against common false alarm triggers.
The Commercial Series expands Bosch’s portfolio of wall-mounted motion detectors, which includes Blue Line Gen2 for residential and small commercial applications and the Professional Series for mid-sized to large enterprises.
