Parsons celebrate safety milestone in Saudi Arabia for rail project

Parsons, a technology-driven engineering services firm with more than 70 years experience in engineering, construction, technical, and professional services industries have announced that the Riyadh Metro project in Saudi Arabia has exceeded 3mn safe work hours

Parsons announced yesterday (31 January 2017) that the Riyadh Metro project in Saudi Arabia, commissioned by the Arriyadh Development Authority, exceeded 3mn safe working hours. This comes less than a year after surpassing 2mn safe working hours without a single lost-time incident. 

Parson are taking a leading role in the Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) management of the two Riyadh Metro contracts, which are being engineered by Riyadh Metro Transit Consultants. 

“Safety is one of Parsons’ six core values, and we are firmly committed to maintaining a safe and healthy environment in all of our offices and on each of our projects,” said Gary Adams, Parsons Group President. “I am very proud of the RMTC project team for achieving such a significant safety milestone; their shared commitment and combined efforts have seen the application of stringent HSE policies and standards enforced on site for all key stakeholders.”
