MSA Safety, manufacturer and distributor of safety products, has set its sights on transforming the UK gas detection industry with the launch of its safety io technology
Safety io, a software services company founded and owned by MSA Safety, uses wireless technology and cloud computing to enable a wide range of ‘connected’ security activities and equipment.
Using MSA gas detection products as enablers, Safety io enables remote monitoring of gas level readings at the workplace, monitors the safety of associates, monitors the maintenance status of the equipment and, in the event of an emergency, informs workers of the need to evacuate by pressing a button. All to help those responsible for safety achieve and exceed safety objectives and eliminate unnecessary interruptions.
