Chubb, the security and fire-safety solutions company, has received a gold award from the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) for its systems business
For the first time, Chubb Fire & Security has also received a Gold Award. RoSPA is universally recognised as an authority on Health and Safety matters and the RoSPA Occupational Health and Safety Awards recognises companies for achieving a high level of performance while demonstrating well developed occupational health and safety management systems and culture, outstanding control of risk and very low levels of error, harm and loss.
Senior EH&S manager at Chubb Fire & Security Mark Redding and EH&S manager for Chubb Systems Steve Cottrell accepted the awards on behalf of the organisation. The company commented that RoSPA’s recognition of Chubb’s commitment to occupational Health and Safety is a tribute to the consistent value Chubb places on employee welfare.
“Our occupational Health and Safety approach is at the heart of everything we do, and this recognition reinforces our customers’ trust in Chubb’s business,” said Cottrell.
RoSPA’s head of awards and events Julia Small said, “To win an award at such a highly-regarded event as the RoSPA Awards is a great achievement for our winners. It recognises its commitment to maintaining an excellent health and safety record and raises the bar for other organisations to aspire to.”
