Zain, a digital service provider in Kuwait, has concluded its strategic partnership for the seventh edition of Rijeemy, Kuwait’s health and sports challenge during the holy month of Ramadan
The event, organised by Rijeemy Centre and supported by Zain for the third year, featured the participation of Zain volunteers throughout Ramadan’s first 20 days at 360 Mall with the aim of promoting a healthier and more active lifestyle during fasting.
Zain’s strategic partnership of this health programme came as an extension of a series of partnerships that the company continuously adopts to serve its strategic and sustainable goals with the aim of contributing to the community’s well-being and health.
The company presented a number of special activities for Rijeemy participants, including the ‘Challenge Zain’ activity that witnessed the participation of Kuwait National Football Team Captain Bader Al Mutawa.
In addition, the daily Walkathon offered participants a chance to speed walk in 360 Mall alongside renowned clinical and sports nutrition consultant Abdullah Al Mutawa, who offered daily live health and sports tips related to maintaining an active and healthy lifestyle during fasting.
This year’s Rijeemy edition witnessed the participation of many Rijeemy Centre certified experts who provided participants with health and nutrition advice as they join the daily activities. Furthermore, Zain was keen to invite its own employees to participate and volunteer in the activities of the program to further affirm its commitment to its own human resources.
Zain’s corporate sustainability and social responsibility strategy focus primarily on the well-being of the entire nation. For that reason, the company has maintained its support for all kinds of initiatives that spread awareness and help make a difference.
