OneWISH announces dates for November Global Live event

OneWISH, the Global Coalition for Women and Inclusion in Safety and Health has announced its November Live Event

The event will bring together expert speakers, panellists and the latest research in diversity and inclusion within the OHS profession.

Following the successful launch of OneWISH in 2020 and the inaugural global congress in March 2021, the coalition of women in safety and health networks has announced the date for a global Live Event in support of Stress Awareness Week. It will be on Thursday, 4 November, 2021 from 12-3.30pm.

The speakers for the event will include the president of IOSH, Jimmy Quinn, addressing the subject of mental health issues in veterans. ROSPA policy advisor Dr Karen McDonnell, hosting a panel discussion with two of her recent OHS mentees to discuss the benefits and challenges of this process, and Sylvia Maruszyk, an activational speaker on stress and mental health from Canada.

The event will also hear from two of the executive committee of OneWISH on the success of the last 12 months and plans for the future.

L’Oréal supported by ERM in association with OneWISH is conducting a global survey and interviews around diversity and inclusion within the Health & Safety profession. Following the survey, interviews are being conducted to understand and deep dive into the challenges for women in advancing their professional career. The first insights and outputs of this report will be exclusively shared and discussed at the OneWISH conference.
