The General Authority for Health Care signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Novonordisk Egypt
It aims to cooperate in the fields of training and developing the capabilities of medical staff providers in healthcare hospitals, ensuring the development of the performance of healthcare services provided to citizens in accordance with the latest international standards.
Dr. Ahmed Al-Sebki, president of the General Authority for Health Care, pointed out that cooperation with the leading companies in Egypt and the world in the fields of diabetes, obesity and hemophilia care, to train doctors in the related fields of health care comes as part of the authority's ongoing efforts to attract the latest therapeutic methods of diseases, to provide a comprehensive and integrated treatment journey for patients, stressing the importance of expanding the network of partners and global expertise in providing scientific training activities to medical staff on innovative treatments for diseases.
Dr. Ahmed Al-Sebki said, "Training doctors is a key pillar for the development of Egypt's health system in accordance with the objectives of Vision Egypt 2030. It emphasises the importance of partnering with the private sector in supporting the success of the new comprehensive health insurance system."
He added that the memorandum of understanding includes building the effective capacity of doctors providing services in healthcare hospitals, and training them in everything new in the field of care, treatment and management of the aforementioned diseases.
The signing of the MoU was done by Dr. Ahmed Al-Sebki, chairman of the Health Care Authority, while Dr. Amir Al-Talwani, executive director of the general authority for Health Care signed the memorandum as a representative of the authority, and Dr. Ayman Hassan, general manager and chairman of Novorodesque Egypt as a representative of the company.
