Emirates Health Services launches knowledge-sharing platform

HSE

Emirates Health Services (EHS) has released a knowledge management platform, which will aid medical staff in sharing up-to-date information

The platform will speed up information sharing and give medical professionals access to all of the strategies, rules, guidelines, and training materials needed to provide high-quality healthcare services. It is a complete interactive system to manage knowledge assets in order to create added value that can meet strategic needs, EHS said. It can also enhance the skills and capacities of both health care professionals and primary health care management.

Dr. Kareema Alraesi, head of the medical professional affairs department at Emirates Health Services, stated that the platform's launch is an extension of EHS's developmental approach since its foundation, with the goal of continuing to enhance the work environment and improving its tools in accordance with the EHS 2023-2026 strategy.

She added that the platform keeps up with the country's national health goals, strategies, and programmes, with the goal of promoting a good quality of life for all members of the UAE society and achieving health sector sustainability. Additionally, EHS signed an MoU with Merck Serono, which is aimed at improving the prospects for collaborative cooperation and identifying frameworks that permit both parties to benefit from their experiences in the workplace.

HE Dr. Youssef Mohammed Al-Sarkal, director general of EHS, and Ahmed Fadl, general manager of Merck Serono Gulf, signed the agreement in the presence of several departmental directors from both organisations. In terms of clinical training for foundation medical staff members, the MoU intends to provide a legal framework for cooperation between the two parties. This will be for the treatment of chronic illnesses like diabetes, hypertension, and hypothyroidism.
