The Propak 379 Bar cylinder from Scott Safety, one of the many products presented at the show, provides customers with extra air capacity without increasing the weight or size of the cylinder, the company said. It offers 25 per cent higher pressure than the standard 300 bar SCBA, enabling wearers to have extended breathing duration of up to 75 minutes, according to Scott Safety.
Also unveiled at the event, was the Prowfow 160, a higher flowrate powered air purifying respirator (PAPR) for the industrial market. The variant of the Proflow SC range has a flow rate of 160I per minute (160I/min), providing reduced respiratory burden and improved comfort for lengthier working periods, particularly in warm environments.
Scott Safety's Middle East facility allows customers in the region access to a service and warranty support department and a regional sales team is on hand to provide advice on choosing products.
