DuPont announced winners of the 2017 DuPont Kevlar glove innovation awards

DuPont Protection Solutions (DuPont) has announced the winners of its second DuPont Kevlar Glove Innovation Awards in EMEA, which give official licensees of the Kevlar brand the opportunity to showcase their designs using Kevlar

The winners of the award for 2017 were announced at the DuPont stand during A+A in Dusseldorf. The winners are Ansell Hyflex 11-54, SEIZ Supporter, Showa S-TEX 581, W+R VULCAN and protective industrial products, Inc - G-Tek Kev 09-K1600.

Kevlar was engineered in the 11-542 as a fundamental component in achieving a high cut resistance to high comfort ratio. Furthermore, the black Kevlar variant drives differentiation in the market by providing customers with the benefits of dirt masking which translates to longer product life with lower ownership costs.

In SEIZ Supporter, a double-Kevlar layer system is used for the first time. The full lining is made of 100 percent Kevlar and reinforcements also are made of fabric strengthened by Kevlar.

The high cut resistance and dexterity utilising the patented Hagane Coil liner engineered with Kevlar. The lightweight glove realises Showa’s fit and comfort combined with high cut resistance.

W+R VULCAN combines a high cut protection with the tactile sensitivity, secure grip and comfortable breathability. DuPont’s engineered yarn is used in the manufacture of this glove, in combination with the knitting technology. This aims to make the glove durable and light.

Protective Industrial Products, Inc - G-Tek Kev 09-K1600 features a DuPont Kevlar gold liner, with black nitrile palm, includes touch screen compatibility, providing excellent grip in wet and dry applications.
