CyberMDX, a leading cybersecurity provider in healthcare providing visibility and threat prevention for medical devices and clinical networks, has announced a partnership with Royal Philips, a health technology specialist, to integrate CyberMDX’s Healthcare Security Suite into Philips’ newly introduced integrated cybersecurity services
The proliferation of millions of connected medical devices enables users and networks to share, search, navigate, manage, compare and analyse virtually unlimited data flows that enhance care outcomes. However, ensuring the security and privacy of these systems and associated data requires a comprehensive risk-based cybersecurity programme.
Created as a platform for partnerships with healthcare clients, Philips Cybersecurity Services is helping to define and implement strategic and tactical software and device protection.
As part of the partnership, Philips customers will have access to CyberMDX’s leading services, including company mapping and evaluation capabilities, medical device risk assessment, security prioritisation, threat detection and intelligence, intrusion prevention, compliance and governance, and related support. The data and insights collected through CyberMDX form a pivotal foundation for the development and implementation of a full cybersecurity plan for Philips’ customers.
