TTE steps up air purification drive with introduction of revolutionary REME-PHI--CELL tech

Industrial

Technical & Trading Establishment (TTE), the MEP FM and ESCO services provider, has added a cutting-edge indoor air quality (AIQ) solution to its reliable and energy-efficient offerings with the introduction of the award-winning REME HALO in-duct air purifier

The new product will take in-building air purification to the next level through revolutionary REME-PHI--CELL technology.

The REME-PHI--CELL technology incorporated in the REME HALO is effective against all three categories of indoor air pollutants, namely Particulates, Microbial and Gases, and it has been thoroughly tested on airborne and surface bacteria and viruses, such as SARS-COV-2 (Covid-19), MRSA and e-coli.

The REME HALO in-duct purifier is the next generation of IAQ technology, capable of purifying every cubic inch of air reached by a central air conditioning system and eliminating sick building syndrome risks by reducing odours and air pollutants.

TTE, an integral part of the Easa Saleh Al Gurg Group’s industrial portfolio, will introduce the patented IAQ product, made by the RGF Environmental Group in the USA, to the region through a distribution partnership with ZECO Aircon.

TTE CEO Easa F Al Gurg said, “RGF’s PHI--CELL is currently the only tested indoor air quality solution that is proven 99.96% effective against the SARS-CoV-2 virus from the air as well as on surfaces. TTE has been serving the region’s air-conditioning market for over five decades, and this partnership strengthens its capabilities in IAQ improvement. This collaboration with ZECO Aircon for the distribution of RGF’s air purification products will help us to collaborate with clients to create safe environments, and aid in efforts made by the UAE government towards minimising infection risk.”

In November 2020, RGF Environmental Group released the industry’s first test evaluating aerosolized SARS-CoV-2 viral reductions directly in the air. The REME-HALO was tested at an independent laboratory for airborne inactivation of SARS-CoV-2 (USA_WA1/2020). Studies conducted inside a large chamber (1,280 cu. ft.) using a direct air sampling method, resulted in >99% reduction of the virus in the air and on surfaces. RGF’s REME-HALO reduces the risk associated with the SARS-CoV-2 virus in treated indoor air environments.

ZECO Aircon Director Kartik Singhal commented “We are delighted about our collaboration with the Easa Saleh Al Gurg Group. (ESAG) TTE is an industry stalwart in providing energy-efficient solutions. Our partnership will contribute immensely towards the health of the community. From public places to residential and commercial spaces, REME-PHI is a tested and proven solution that neutralises the virus from the air and surfaces.”
