Food delivery platform Talabat has deployed its vehicle fleet for transporting medical supplies from clinics to patients with limited access, in compliance with stringent safety and precautionary measures
Furthermore, Talabat has made a financial donation to the Ministry of Health to support efforts to curb the spread of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19).
Hala Siraj, managing director of Talabat Jordan, commented, “In light of the current circumstances Jordan and the world at large are experiencing, it is essential for the public and private sectors to come together to mitigate this pandemic. This endorsement emphasises our close cooperation with the government of Jordan, while reaffirming our commitment to serving our local communities.
“The safety of our customers, employees and drivers, and the continuity of the operations of our partners, are at the forefront of our priorities, as we actively ensure we keep pace with the recent changes that may affect the nature of our business once the crisis has passed.”
Talabat continues to deliver groceries and essentials via its fleet to various governorates in the country during the permitted curfew period - on par with the highest safety and security standards - to help prevent the spread of COVID-19.
