Invixium, a provider of advanced biometric solutions, adds two advances to its flagship IXM TITAN device: mask detection and facial recognition while wearing a mask
This addition is included in the upcoming release of IXM WEB 2.2.40.0 and TITAN firmware version 2.4.40.0, according to a news article by the company.
IXM TITAN now enables mask detection and facial recognition while wearing a mask and continues to use the solution’s touchless facial recognition capabilities with minimal disruption.

Mask Detection enables IXM TITAN to recognise whether or not a visitor or employee wears a mask and to inform users without masks to wear one mask if masks are required for entry. Face recognition while wearing a mask is ideal for businesses where employees are required to wear masks, as IXM TITAN can now authenticate their face recognition without first asking the user to remove their masks.
