Renaissance Services, Oman’s leading people services and facilities management company, has helped guide organisations through best practises in the field of workplace safety and people safety following the COVID19 pandemic

The #BackToWork campaign, developed by Renaissance, encouraged business leaders to download the best practices guide, which was made available on the company’s website and on social media during the weeks of August and September when organisations were ready to open their offices.

Adil Bahwan, chief operating officer at Renaissance Services, said, “The COVID-19 pandemic has changed the way organisations operate globally. With the new standard of work from home, remote access and virtual meetings, it is of paramount importance for companies to build a framework to help reconnect employees safely back to the workplace.

“The guidelines that we developed were designed to help employers bring their people back to work as seamlessly as possible. With the combined efforts of the HR, QHSE and the Renaissance Business Resilience teams, we have been able to provide a general overview as well as specific guidelines for employers to develop an effective strategy to bring employees back to work safely.”

The campaign carried out through the social media channels of the company and the wider digital ecosystem in Oman generated more than 800,000 impressions, with more than 3,500 users viewing the guidelines document.

“We were delighted to see the level of commitment from business leaders in Oman to adhering to best practices on workplace safety. Staying safe by following the safe practices as laid down by the Ministry of Health and the Supreme Committee on COVID-19 is a responsibility that each of us needs to make our top priority. This is how we can continue to support and show our solidarity for Oman’s crucial frontline heroes”, Bahwan added.
