MoH invites bidders for Saudi Arabia’s first healthcare PPP project

HSE

Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Health (MoH), through its Vision 2030 Vision Realisation Office (VRO), has invited local and international healthcare service providers to submit Expressions of Interest (EoI) for its public-private partnership (PPP) project in the kingdom

The deadline for EoI submission is Monday, 1 July 2019.

The PPP project, which targets radiology and medical imaging services covering several hospitals in the Greater Riyadh region, reflects the growth potential that exists in the Saudi healthcare sector, the largest healthcare market in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC).

The EoI process marks a major step forward for PPP projects in the kingdom that is continuing to encourage private sector participation in a bid to meet the rising demand for quality healthcare.

The PPP project is expected to improve access to more than a million people in the Greater Riyadh region, as well as improve wait/turn-around times and reliability of scans, which in turn should improve diagnosis, and therefore treatment.
