Humaid Al Qutami, director general of Dubai Health Authority (DHA), has inaugurated a specialised ‘Saudi German Clinics’ complex by Saudi German Hospitals Group in Al Jumeirah

The inauguration is in line with DHA’s ambitious plan to support international health facilities that have chosen to invest in Dubai’s health sector to ensure access to quality healthcare services to the people of Dubai.

Al Qutami said that the increase in international health facilities choosing to invest in Dubai’s healthcare sector contributed to achieving an integrated healthcare sector and at the same time serves the authority’s health tourism strategy, which aims to transform Dubai into a leading destination for medical tourism.

Dr Reem Osman, CEO of Saudi German Hospitals Group in the UAE, noted that the new clinic is set to meet all family healthcare needs, especially for those living in and around Jumeirah.

The clinic is expected to provide services in the fields of internal medicine, family medicine, obstetrics and gynaecology, dentistry, orthopaedics, ENT, general surgery, ophthalmology, urology, dermatology and radiology, Dr Osman noted.

She further added that the Saudi German Hospitals Group is planning to open more specialised clinics across the emirates in the near future.
