Clemenceau Medical Center Hospital in Dubai has announced the launch of telemedicine services that will be available over the phone and select video-conferencing platforms

The Hospital’s 24-hour call centre will connect patients to consultant doctors in relevant medical, surgical and obstetrics specialties. The initiative is part of supporting nationwide efforts that are focused on physical distancing to reduce the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Rola Hammoud, chief medical executive of Clemenceau Medical Center Dubai, said, “As a vital pillar of society and the economy, the healthcare sector must be ever-ready with solutions to provide the highest standards of care in any circumstance. Through the new telemedicine service, we are supporting patients with the best care programmes while encouraging them to stay home.”

Responding swiftly to the needs of patients, the hospital has also launched additional facilities including home delivery, home health care and sample collection services for tests, on a need basis.

Hammoud added, “Through this step, we aspire to provide integrated and customised medical services to families right in the comfort of their homes, supporting them through holistic care that is delivered by an experienced team across medical and nursing specialties.”
