AlMansoori Specialised Engineering’s annual health day, held at the Hilton Hotel, Abu Dhabi, focused on the issues of obesity and weight loss
The one-day event was attended by more than 250 AlMansoori staff and partners who participated in a variety of presentations and fitness demonstrations. Speakers at the event discussed a range of topics including Obesity 101, the impact of weight gain on joints, paleo/primal diet, making changes and exercise for weight loss.
A range of health products and services from various organisations including Lifecare Hospital, Lifeline Wellness, Exeter Medical Centre, Advantage Sports, The Art of Living and Go Organic, were on display at the event.
Speaking about the event, AlMansoori CEO Nabil Alalawi said, “Obesity is one of the biggest challenges facing the modern world. At AlMansoori, we have always believed that our people are our greatest asset, and providing the right information to them so that they can maintain or improve their state of health is very important to us.”
