Influential leaders and policymakers from the health and medical sector of Oman met with exhibition officials and conference organiser of Omanexpo for the 2019 Oman Health Exhibition & Conference
The meeting was organised in preparation for the upcoming ninth edition of Oman Health Exhibition & Conference, the Sultanate’s healthcare event, with the aim of gathering strategic and technical insights on current vital issues, challenges and opportunities in Oman’s health and medical sector and helping shape new solutions to meet the sector’s dynamic requirements.
These will serve as a basis for developing the conference agenda of the event and stimulate close and meaningful dialogue, interaction and networking among main industry representatives in an effort to help drive the sector’s development and growth and support the government’s short and long-term initiatives to advance the industry.
The meeting was attended by directors, primary healthcare experts, heads of the departments of medical devices of the Ministry of Health, National Quality Centre patient and safety managers, Oman, and Medical Services specialists from the Armed Forces and Royal Oman Police (ROP).
Ahmed Sayed, exhibition director, Oman Health Exhibition and Conference, said, “We are glad to see the positive response to this event from the relevant representatives from the industry as with the continued support of the Ministry of Health. We are committed to organising industry meetings such as this to ensure that this event serves a real purpose for Oman and its fast-growing healthcare industry. Only through close collaboration and year-round interaction with stakeholders could we ensure that we are on the right track.”
The conference is scheduled to open at the Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre from 23-25 September. The ninth edition of this landmark event is expected to welcome more than 100 exhibition companies from more than 10 countries, showcasing the best of the industry products, services, equipment and technologies representing the hospital and medical infrastructure, medical supplies and healthcare services.
The exhibition will be accompanied by a three-day conference and a two-day workshop accredited by the Oman Specialty Board (OMSB), which will be presented by a qualified lineup of highly esteemed health and medical experts.
Business-to-business meetings provide added value, ensuring a significant return on investment (ROI) for exhibitors. The organisers also provided a more valuable visitor experience by offering free medical consultations with specialists from some of the largest clinics, hospitals, and healthcare providers in Germany, Iran, India, UAE, Thailand, Malaysia, and Turkey.
