The show will be held at London’s ExCeL from 18-20 June 2019. This year, the talks will cover courage, resilience and breaking the mould.

With speeches aimed at inspiring health and safety strategy and changing the way one thinks about mental health, business and risk, this event will provide an opportunity to hear from Jonny Wilkinson CBE, Steph McGovern and Eddie the Eagle.

Steph McGovern

Steph McGovern shares how she went from working as an apprentice engineer at Black & Decker in Durham to becoming an award-winning financial journalist and household name of the BBC. From training skills to economic uncertainty, find out what she thinks it takes to be a good business.

McGovern will be speaking as part of Women in Health & Safety and will be in the keynote theatre at 11:30 am on Tuesday 18 June.

Eddie the Eagle

Finding it easier to make an excuse than to take a risk? Who better than learning about the value of risk-taking, perseverance and courage than the legendary underdog Olympic ski jump and former British ski jumping record holder Eddie the Eagle. Hear the lessons of his life in ‘Courage and risk–a different perspective’.

Catch Eddie in the keynote theatre at 11:30 am on 19 June.

Jonny Wilkinson

Probably one of the best-known players in the world, England rugby legend Jonny Wilkinson talks about his struggles with mental health in this incredibly honest and unguarded presentation ‘Success on the field and mental health: a personal account of understanding what matters’.

Wilkinson will be taking to the keynote theatre at Safety & Health Expo on 20 June at 11:30 am.
