Scott Safety has launched a new welding headtop offering facial and respiratory protection for professionals in the welding industry
The FH4 welding headtop has been designed to provides advanced protection from flash burns, ultraviolet lights, sparks, infrared lights and extreme heat. The headtop is compatible with Scott Safety Proflow 160 and Tornado-powered respirators, both of which are available with particulate, gas and combination filters.
According to the manufacturer, the fully-adjustable ratchet headgear mechanism ensures an optimal fit with an ergonomic comfort pad that sits just below the occipital bone. The device has been fitted with soft, pliable materials that fit the contours of the face, enhancing comfort for heavy work when worn for extended periods of time, added the equipment manufacturer.
