Kaspersky Lab, a cybersecurity solutions provider, has signed a managed security service provider (MSSP) agreement with Umniah, a Telecom Services Provider in Jordan
Through this strategic agreement, Umniah will expand their MSSP portfolio by offering Kaspersky Lab’s premium cybersecurity solutions and an ecosystem of tools, incentives and support that will help customers to elevate their business to the next level.
As a result of this partnership, Umniah will be offering Kaspersky Lab’s resources and services such as threat intelligence, security assessment, incident response, security awareness and security training, ensuring organisations are better equipped to strengthen their security posture as cyberattacks continue to grow both locally and globally.
In addition, Umniah’s OPEX and ‘pay-as-you-go’ based licensing programme will make it easier and flexible for customers to acquire the required licenses when interested in a particular service or solution, thereby guaranteeing the investment.
This move comes in the light of Kaspersky Lab channelling its efforts towards increasing awareness and providing intelligence and expertise to organisations, regardless of size, to be safe against unprecedented cyber threats and build a new level of cyber-immunity.
Amir Kanaan, managing director for the Middle East, Turkey and Africa at Kaspersky Lab, said, “We see emerging technologies opening gateways to more cyberattacks by increasing the level of risk and exposure. Keeping this in mind, Kaspersky Lab is extremely pleased to be able to provide our cybersecurity solutions and services to the Jordanian market through Umniah.”
Ziad Shatara, CEO at Umniah, commented, “Partnering with Kaspersky Lab for its offerings to expand our portfolio is a strategic move for us. This partnership with Kaspersky Lab ensures that we can provide our customers the best solutions as part of our portfolio range. We are confident that Kaspersky Lab will contribute to the success of our journey and we look forward to a fruitful collaboration.”
