New Honeywell Forge features help protect facilities from cyberthreats

The new release includes several improvements to help ensure business continuity in the face of rising cyberthreats, uncertain global business conditions and continued supply chain disruption associated with remote operations.

The new release of Honeywell Forge Cybersecurity Suite (R200) incorporates new features such as enhanced remote industrial-grade access, increased asset discovery capabilities with active and passive functionality, and improved cybersecurity risk monitoring.

Jeff Zindel, vice-president and general manager, Honeywell Connected Enterprise Cybersecurity, said, “As more operators of critical infrastructure and facilities move to support remote work, they’re increasingly vulnerable to cybersecurity issues."

To centralise security operations and asset security management, Honeywell Forge Cybersecurity Suite provides users with a single dashboard. It simplifies, strengthens and scales security operations for asset-intensive enterprises facing evolving cybersecurity threats. It can improve performance at a single site or across an enterprise by increasing cyber risk visibility while also decreasing cybersecurity management inefficiencies.

Honeywell Forge Cybersecurity Suite addresses common pain points in OT domains, including:

-Safely moving and using operations data,

-Strengthening endpoint and network security, and

-Improving cybersecurity compliance.

The cybersecurity teams can provide and manage remote access to vendors with greater security and ease, allowing these teams to better monitor cyber risks and operational health inside their environments.

The Honeywell Forge Cybersecurity Suite comes in three versions: Enterprise Core, Enterprise Premium and Site offerings. It can either be deployed as a subscription, or via Honeywell Managed Security Services. Honeywell also provides cybersecurity consulting services to complement the Honeywell Forge Cybersecurity Suite to help further strengthen cyber defences.
